General rules for nominations are:

Nominations

You may nominate 1-10 fandoms with 1-10 pairings and 1-10 freeform tags. The mod reserves the right to combine or edit tags, but will post here for input on whether doing so is appropriate.

Please do not make freeform tags canon-specific. For instance, nominating 'Character A is hit with a killing curse' is fine. 'Harry Potter gets hit with a killing curse' or 'Character A gets hit with avada kedavra' is not O.K., as they both reference a specific canon.

Please disambiguate the tags. What this means is 'Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy' should be nominated as 'Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter)'.

You may nominate pairings either with / (which implies a romantic and/or sexual relationship) or & (which implies a platonic relationship, whether it be friends, family, etc). You may also nominate solo characters using the format 'Solo: Character Name (Fandom)'. 'Character & None (Fandom name)' will also be accepted.

For ship requests, you may nominate things like 'Harry Potter/Any' or 'Harry Potter/Creator's Choice of Female Character' or 'Harry Potter/OC' or 'Harry Potter/Inanimate Object'. Unless otherwise stated by the requestor in their sign-up, this exchange will assume it refers to any canon character/any female canon character, etc. As the requester, if you're happy for 'any' to mean literally any character in any canon/person please specify that in your sign-up, and maybe someone will write you the Harry Potter/Harry Styles fic of your dreams (however, you cannot box your creator in, so if you're specifically deadset on Harry Potter/Harry Styles, make sure you nominate and specifically request it under the Crossover fandom). If you request 'Harry Potter/OC' and use it specifically to nominate an OC you or someone else created in another work, that is unenforceable and you will not be granted another gift if your creator doesn't live up to that specification.

Pairing requests with non-physical concepts, such as 'Draco Malfoy/His Inferiority Complex' are not allowed and will be removed from the tag set.

Crossover fandoms should be nominated as such: Harry Potter (Harry Potter)/Pinky (Pinky and the Brain)

If you notice duplicates in the tag set, let the mod know.
